Teri Tompkins, an award-winning St. Augustine painter and illustrator, is presenting a collection of works chosen especially for the Holidays at the beautiful 7 Rohde Gallery. An enthusiastic environmentalist, her paintings include works from her Florida Preservation Series, portraits, figures, plein air pieces and a variety of studies. Tompkins, daughter of legendary jazz pianist Ross Tompkins, studied painting and art history in California and Europe- as well as with master artists around the country. Now living and working back in her beloved home town, she strives to always grow, deepen and strengthen her work- and enjoys running the weekly Figure Sessions at the St. Augustine Art Association.
